Amazonite: also called amazon stone for it is found in the Amazon river. Greenish in colour It is believed to give energy to the body, and strengthen heart and body. It brings back the focus on oneself

Amethyst: This stone was widely used by the Egyptians. Nowadays it is a stone that is used widely in the occult. It is supposed to keep the bearer from getting drunk, bring peace of mind. In ancient times the soldiers wore it on the shaft of spears as a charm against death. It is useful for revelation of prophetic truth.

Amethyst chevron: a pinkish gem stone which is used to enhance mediation and psychic activities.Also widely used for channeling

Apatite: usually green stone but it can also be reddish, brown and yellow. This stone is used to awaken psychic abilities

.Aquamarine:used to get in touch with your inner child through mediation

Bloodstone: used in witchcraft for the purpose of friendship and love. Also used to bring abundance to its wearer

Carnelian Gemstone:It’s color is orange and it is much used in jewelry. Supposedly it boosts your energy and your spirituality

Citrine: yellow stone much used in jewelry today. It is supposed to bring wealth, luck and creativity to its owner

Fluorite: can be green or purple.Used for healing spinal problems, and arthritis. But it also helps you get detached from your emotions

Hematite:widely used in witchcraft. It enhances the spell and curses placed on the victims of witchcraft

Jade: regarded in the East (China for example) as a symbol fo the good, the beautiful and the precious. In ancient Egypt Jade was used as the stone of love. In witchcraft it is used to bring well being to the body (health)

Jasper (Red): stone used for divination purposes and out of body experiences

Lapis Lazuli: used to gain secret knowledge. This was widely used by alchemists in past centuries

Onyx: used to protect one energy

Peridot: used in witchcraft to bring wealth and luck

Pink Quarz: the pink stone is used to attract love and the smoky one is used to keep negative emotions and thought away. This stone is widely sold in New Age shops

Tiger’s eye: used in divination

Topaz: used in channeling to obtain visual messages and images from the universe

Turquoise: Ancient civilizations thought that by the change of color of the stone when worn it would protect its owner from evil forces. Widely used for amulets for its spiritual powers

This list that I am writing here is by no means complete and the publication of this list is for the sole purpose of teaching Christians about the occult meanings of these gems and stones. I do not purpose to sell occultism but to make you aware of it! In my experience many Christians go into New Age stones and buy these stones without knowing what they are bringing into their homes. I hope this list will awaken you to the reality and that you will get rid of them accordingly. Another word of caution needs to be said here: usually these stones do possess their spiritual power after they have been empowered through witches and other occult people. The stone as such bears no spiritual power, only after you give it to it will it operate within its power.
