Chain letters
We all have received them and I think we all have passed them on. Why? Simple. Because we were afraid of the curse attached to them fall upon us if we do not continue their sequence. That’s why. But are these chainletters ethical? Hardly. Have you ever wondered that by participating in these letters you are indeed bringing a curse upon yourself because you are sending curses to people who do not know that they are in fact receiving curses? “Cursedbe he that maketh the blind to wander out of the way. And all the people shall say, Amen..” If at first we did receive chainletters that spoke of friendship, good luck etc, today we receive chainletters which contain much more sinister messages with warnings, such as if we do not send these to a certain amount of people we will fall prone to bad luck, which in fact is nothing more than a curse! Be aware that these chain letters are nowadays also being used to trick innocent people of their hard earned money through pyramide chain letters. These letters all promise you to that if you follow their instruction you will become very rich. Yes, you will become very rich in dissapointments, headaches and frustrations! I myself have received many of these letters from people, amongst them, well meaning Christians who think there is no harm in sending them on, for they are just simple letters. They think they are fun! Well, they have not read the curse placed at the end of the letter too well, have they?! For each letter whether it be for friendship, good luck etc, always ends up with a curse that if you do not follow the instructions given at the end of the letter, the curses listed at the end of that letter will fall upon you. This is why many people just send them on, for fear of getting these curses! We must, however, realize hat in sending these letters on we are justifying the makers of them. “He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both are abomination to the LORD.”(Prov 17:15). Yes, you are, for you are keeping the chain alive, and in this way sending demons to innocent people. As Christians we ought to know better and not become frightened by them. Remember that by passing these on, you are committing a heinous sin. “For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD”(Deut 18:12a). Don’t be intimidated by them, they are easily broken! At the end of this letter I will tell you how! For now it sufices to say that we ought not to participate in this area. I firmly believe that people who start these chainletters do not do it just for fun. I just simply cannot immagine that if you put a ‘curse’ at the end of a letter, you are doing it just for the fun of it, because what you in fact doing, is attaching demons to the letter!! These demons will get at you if you do not participate in the passing on of these letters. How can this be just for fun? How can this be innocent? You may not like it, you may even think that I am overreacting but I am deadly serious about it. I honestly think that chain letters are part of Satan’s plan to destroy you by opening doorways for demons to curse you. That is why I think these letters are in some way related to the occult. Have you ever noticed the fear you get when you receive them? Have you read the curses that in fact invoke fear if you do not continue their sequence? I have! A letter should make you rejoice, but a laugh on your face, but it should never make you FEARFUL! That is just plain evil! I was in fact so fearful of these, that I just sent them along, without even thinking about the implications and consequences of what I was doing. I never gave it a thought that whenever I was passing these on, I was in fact passing the curses on! My turning point came when God spoke to me about it and told me that I was doing a very wrong thing. Thank God for that revelation! Ever since, whenever I receive one, I just break all curses off and delete them. Let’s take a look at what the Bible says about the passing on of curses, shall we? “….cursedbe every one that curseth thee, and blessed be he that blesseth thee.” (Gen 27:29b) God told Abraham that He would curse everyone that would curse Him and His descendants and He would bless everyone that would bless him and his descendants. This promise is for us also, as Gentiles, as new born again Christians under the New Covenant. If we curse people and thus participating in cursing God’s chosen people (we as Gentiles may call us chosen) we will be cursed, but if we bless people, we will be blessed. Take it seriously, for God takes it very serious! Sending curses is a very dangerous thing! You might not see nor feel it, but one day you might be living that curse! God in fact tells us that we should not curse anyone that He has not cursed, in fact He tells us that He is the only one who has the right to curse. See for yourself: How shall I curse, whom God hath not cursed? or how shall I defy, whom the LORD hath not defied?. Num 23:8 We are seriously sinning if we participate in the sending of chain letters. Don’t you know that as Christians we are not allowed to curse? Never! For it is an evil thing to do. Curses are nothing less than sending harm to others, with the help and invocation of evil spirits. When God puts us under a curse, He is in fact letting Satan create certain damage in our lives. I say certain because God curses us in order to bring us back to repentance in order for Him to bless us again. God is always in control, but when we curse or send curses we are not in control of what we are doing. We therefore have no control over what those curses will do in other’s people’s lives! Does not the Bible tell us that we should “Neither shalt thou bring an abomination into thine house, lest thou be a cursed thing like it: but thou shalt utterly detest it, and thou shalt utterly abhor it; for it is a cursed thing.”( Deut 7:26). Right? Well, what did you think happens when you receive such a letter or when you pass such an abomination on? Is this letter in fact not an accursed thing? I think it is, for the reasons mentioned above. Did you know that the computer is a demonic doorway? Yes, you heard right. It is. It is widely used by witches and other people who make use of the occult to send curses and demons into your home. That is why it is so important to anoint your computer. (for more information on this topic please read Spiritual housecleaning). Now do not get worried when you receive such a letter that your home will be filled with demons. Just anoint your computer and break off those curses from your life and delete those letters. That is all. If you have Christian friends, pass them this newsletter on. It might open their eyes!
Prayer:Dear Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus I now humbly ask you to please break any curses that might have attached themselves to me by this chain letter. I humbly ask you to forgive the senders of these letters and to bless them as I have forgiven them also. I also ask you to bind and remove any evil spirit that might have entered my life or my house because of this letter.I thank you dear Heavenly Father for it in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Command:In the name of Jesus I now take authority over these curses (name those curses by name, it depends on the letter you receive) and I command these curses to be broken now. In the name of Jesus I now bind and command all the evil spirits associated with these curses to leave me and my life at once and never come back.
