A blood pact is usually a binding contract in which a person writes his or her name down on a piece of paper alongside a promise or a curse with his or her own blood (as a form of signature) to seal it. While doing so that person promises to sell out his or her soul to the Devil in return for proserity or any other form of gain. Blood pacts are usually done to gain wealth, power or even fame, but there are also many other reasons for people to make this kind of pact with the Devil. Some use it to gain spiritual power, others, such as musicians and other famous people do it to attain wealth and fame. Not everybody does it for wealth or fame. There are people like Faust, for example, who did it to attain knowledge to change liquid into gold.
Faust was said to be a magician and an alchemist who lived in Staufen, Germany.The story goes that he sold his soul out to Satan in exchange for the knowledge of how to transform liquid into gold. It is said that when time came near the devil took him with him and as a sign that he did so, he left his footprint on the floor, which are still to be seen in his old house today. Whether the story is true or not, it remains to be seen, but as to the notoriety of the blood pacts, this story is one of the most famous. Goethe wrote about it, and many musicians such as Frans List composed music about this case.
Nowadays blood pacts are known to be made in Satanic and in witchcraft circles such as Macumba and voodoo. Blood pacts are more common than you think. People make them just for fun, never realizing that such a blood pact carries sipiritual implications which may last forever. What many a parent fails to realize, is that theri own children have also performed these acts, many of them in a playful manner. They often do so in an act to swear eternal friendship with their friends or to zeal a secret through such a blood pact. I know it for I have done it. Children of course do not understand the spiritual implications of such an action. Parents should be aware of such things in order to break it off of your child’s life. A pact even though closed with a friend by blood binds you to that friend for life with all its consequneces if you do not break it!
By this I mean that all the spiritual connotations that you will feel or have will pass on to your friend and vice versa. The demons that plague you will plague your friend, and even worse, Satan will have a strong foothold in your life. It is not until you break such a pact and the soul ties with that person that this blood pact can be broken! One thing though, that must never be done is what many a person doe: Exchanging such a blood pact with a blood pact to Jesus. These kind of actions are not biblical. Jesus gave His own life and shed His own blood to set you free. There is no reason for you to endanger your life by closing such blood pacts with anyone. If you have done so, a simple renunciation prayer and the expelling from demons should be enough. Jesus is Lord and He has the power to break that off of your life. No need to make another blood pact!
One very important thing you need to realize, is that many a person who has made such a blood pact, especially those who have sold their souls out to the devil, immediately experience a change in their spiritual life. Almost immediately a spiritual blindness sets in, and the demonization of that person starts. It is not unusual that people will manifest extreme forms of demonization, or that demons will materialize in that person at unexpected times. People will then think that that person is suffering from MPD (Multiple Personality Disease) but that is not true. What that person is suffering form is the multiple demons that have gained access into that person’s life through that blood act.
Furthermore, It is not uncommon for people who have sold out their souls to Satan to gain extreme spiritual power and almost unlimited access to the spiritual world. I say almost because Satan will never give you complete access into his kingdom. His kingdom is a kingdom of darkness, where everything is hidden and unrevealed. Nevertheless, people have been known to possess extreme psychic and magical powers after such a pact. You must realize that once you have performed such a blood pact, and want to break out of it, the battle for your soul will begin. Jesus can take you out of it, no doubt about that, but Satan will fight you all along the way. You will find yourself in a huge spiritual battle in which you must learn to stand your ground. The only way you can do it is through much prayer and wide knowledge of the Word of God. Satan is defeated by the Word of God. Jesus set the example for us (Matt 4; Lk 4).
Hence, if you have performed such an act and you want out of it, seek help immediately. Also if you have closed such a pact with a friend and sealed it with your blood, you must renounce this at once through prayer. Take a good thought about what changed in your life after such a blood pact. Usually you will find that demonic manifestation has started or aggravated after such a pact. You need to renounce these demons also. Break off the power of such a blood act over your life. You can do it with the help of Jesus. He will help you, do not hesitate about that. Jesus is faithful (1 Cor 1:9), He will help you. Furthermore, cover yourself with His blood which He shed for you on the cross. His blood has been shed for the remission of your sins and will keep you protected (Heb 9:7; 9:12; Rev.12:11).
