The director of the Right Branch Ministry is Anne van Riemsdijk- Jansen. She was born in South America,and as a child of a German father and a Dutch mother she was raised with the German, Spanish and English language. The Dutch language, she learned to speak when she emigrated to the Netherlands, where the ministry is based. Even though her father is a believer, her mother is not. She was not raised going to Church nor with a belief in God. Nevertheless, she always from her own view believed in God. As long as she can remember Ishe hs always had a special awareness of God, she always felt His loving presence in a special manner during her life.
During her childhood she often heard the Lord call her by name just as Samuel did(1 Samuel 3:6). Just as Samuel thought that Eli had called him, so did she think her parents were calling her by name, only to find out that they had not called her. It was years later that she realized that her experiene was similar to Samuel's and she understood her calling from God.. This calling happened several times during her childhood. During her life she also received and is still receiving much revelation through dreams, of which some have been already fulfilled. One might think that this should be enough reason to enter into the Lord's service but Anne did not.Instead she tried to work in the secular world only to find out that she could not fit in. Something never felt right but that something was hard to say what it was. It was not until she was diganosed with a severe burn-out some years ago, did she realize the nagging feeling she had was the calling from God.
God explicitly told her that her burn-out was due to her disobedience towards His calling for Her. Once she understood her sin, she repented and started to study Theology. She aboslutely loved it and from that moment on her health started to improve drastically. The improvement was not only on her health but now she started to experience God's presence in a more powerful and revealing manner.Today she servs the Lord full-time.
Because the Lord has called her into the ministry of Healing and Deliverance, He has graciously , allowed her to experience Spiritual Warfare at first hand. Many a time she has battled with the forces of evil, not only in her life but in the life of others as well. These encounters have not alwyas been easy for her, but Jesus has always proven to be so loyal to her and giving her the victory in His mighty Name.
The Right Branch Ministry and its staff specializes in Healing Counseling and Spiritual Warfare. It is their belief that both go hand in hand. One cannot deliver a person of a demon and leave that person to cope with his or her new gained liberty by himself afterwards. Deliverance is needed usually after opening spiritual doors in one's life. However one can possess demons that might have come down the generational line. After deliverance a person always needs counselling! Both Healing and Deliverance are the purposes of this ministry. Many churches do deliverance but not many follow through with counselling. They refer the delivered people to counsellers. We try to fill that gap.
To counsel a person requires abundant knowlege, not only about psychology but also of the Bible. God often has given us the answer in His Word beforehand, all we have to do is just find the right passage and apply it. We believe that many people, marriages and homes are afflicted not only by the demonic, but also by their own inability to cope with life and the pressures thereof. Many problems can be solved through deliverance and counseling. We are the ones that open the doors to the demonic and other problems in our lives, but with counselling and the right attitude we can close them for ever. Jesus is our Shepherd and He has given us the authority in His name to cast the demons out(Mk 16:17).
The Right Branch Ministry also do workshops, seminars and Crusades in all countries of the world. Jesus is our Lord and Saviour and Him alone will we preach.
